Baldwin Construction Services, Inc., is pleased
to announce that it has been chosen to design
and build the new “Karen Beasley Sea Turtle
Rescue and Rehabilitation Center” in Surf City,
N.C.
At
14,204 square feet, the new facility will
include 45 rehab tanks, a laboratory, a surgical
suite with x-ray, a large observation deck for
the public, gift shop and education facilities.
Since this will be the first hospital in the
U.S. built from the ground up for the purpose of
Sea Turtle Rehabilitation, Baldwin has been to
several existing facilities around the country
to research the best design, pumping and
filtration systems available.
Baldwin Construction Services is a commercial
design/build contractor who works with its
clients from site acquisition to occupancy.
Established in 1981, Baldwin is able to offer
the design our clients want, and earlier
knowledge of costs than with the typical
design/bid/build process. Please see
